10) What types of fabrics do you use for your clothing?
Currently, we blend various types of fabrics such as Polyester and Cotton, Satin and Silk, and Linen and Cotton.
11) How do I take care of XYZ fabric?
As most of our designs use blended fabrics, we advise you to read the sew-in care label.
For instance, If the label indicates a blend of 45% cotton and 55% Linen, follow our washing instructions for linen.
Here is a general care instruction for each type of fabric.
Polyester: The best way to wash polyester is to use cold water, warm water is also okay, but be sure to restrict your load to similar colors. Polyester is sensitive to heat. Air dry polyester or tumble dry at medium temperature. Polyester doesn’t generally wrinkle. Iron as needed at low-temperature setting.
Satin Silk: As Satin Silk is delicate it requires special care. It should be washed with cold or lukewarm water and mild soap. While it is possible to wash it with a machine, hand-washing remains a safer option. Do not twist or wring the material as it can damage the fabric. Air-drying is the safest option for satin fabric. As it is extremely sensitive to heat, it is important to take extra caution by placing a barrier between the iron and the fabric.
Cotton: when washing cotton, stick to cold water to avoid shrinkage and discoloration. Always air-dry: dry clothes flat and out of the sun if possible. Cotton is a fairly tough fabric and can be ironed at higher temperatures without the risk of shininess or burning. T-shirts don’t need ironing if you gently stretch them after washing.
Linen: Linen becomes softer and more absorbent after each wash. To avoid fading, wash linen at low temperature in lukewarm or cold and preferably soft water. Air drying is the best choice when it comes to linen fabrics. If you choose to machine dry, use a low or no heat setting.
Ironing while the fabric is still damp is recommended, use a medium-hot or steam setting. White linen is better ironed on both sides, whilst dark linen should be pressed only on the reverse side.
12) Can I add to, change, or cancel an order once it has been placed?
